What You Will Do

As a Lead Technician, you will report directly to the Senior Project Manager and play a pivotal role within our Security Systems Aftermarket team. Based in our Dubai office, you will lead the installation, servicing, repair, and preventative maintenance of advanced Security Systems. You’ll oversee field operations, mentor junior technicians, and ensure projects are executed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

This is a hands-on leadership role that blends technical expertise with team coordination, offering a dynamic environment to sharpen both your field skills and supervisory capabilities.

How You Will Do It

Drawing on your deep technical knowledge of Security Systems, you will:

  • Conduct site surveys and prepare detailed dilapidation reports, inspecting all security components and recommending upgrades or replacements.
  • Lead the Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of systems including CCTV, Access Control, ANPR, Facial Recognition, Intercoms, and Barriers, ensuring compliance with service agreements.
  • Plan and coordinate daily activities, allocating resources and supervising technicians to meet contract deliverables.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to secure timely support and materials.
  • Provide expert technical guidance based on field observations and system performance.
  • Standardize work methods and propose process improvements for efficiency and safety.
  • Ensure availability of tools and materials for seamless execution of tasks.
  • Review and prepare performance reports, including Failure Analysis and PM program assessments, recommending corrective actions.
  • Uphold quality, health, safety, and environmental standards in all field operations, liaising with the Quality & HSE Manager.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant legislation, codes, and company policies.
  • Submit timely and accurate reports for planned and completed work as per scope of services.

What We Look For

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Security Systems.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills, with the ability to communicate findings clearly.
  • Proven expertise in Access Control, CCTV, Intercoms, Gate Barriers, Intrusion Systems, and related technologies.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, and technical specifications.
  • Skilled in producing professional documents for both client and internal use.
  • Solid understanding of contractual obligations and experience in preparing formal communications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-focused approach.
