At Emirates we believe in connecting the world to and through our global hub in Dubai and in constantly innovating to ensure our customers Fly BetterEmirates Group IT thrives on the dynamic nature of technology Being pioneers in aviation innovation were always at the forefront pushing boundaries Were on the lookout for exceptional IT professionals to fortify our position as leaders in the industry Embark on a journey with the worlds largest international airline and become a vital part of our cuttingedge information and technology team as Lead Quality Assurance EngineerJoin our Quality Engineering team where quality lies at the heart of our brand We value diverse perspectives backgrounds and ways of thinking and we are building a talented team of quality engineers Our team ensures software quality across the entire customer journey from ticket booking to the seamless delivery of ancillary services and the efficient operation of our airplanes We employ a suite of testing tools and methodologies utilizing widely used frameworks and programming languages such as Java C and Python along with innovative technologies essential for application development testing and deployment We implement CICD pipelines and follow DevSecOps practices dedicated to continuous improvement to enhance the customer experience If you are passionate about shaping the future of quality engineering and contributing to the renowned success of Emirates we invite you to apply and help to shape the future of Emirates GroupIn this role you will Work closely with project members technical product owners architects and software engineers to understand the complete context of deliveries to translate complex functional and nonfunctional requirements Work with the Core Test Data team to ensure test data is available to support the wide variety of tests that you plan coordinate and execute at various stages of the SDLC Liaise with other product teams to manage the testing of cross dependent features Ensure Test Tools are configured correctly and accurately to support the generation of metrics for enterprisewide dashboards Challenge the statusquo where needed with new tools and techniques to continuously raise the bar of quality deliveries Implement maintain and adapt automation frameworks and test harnesses to ensure robust CI pipelines post deployment CD tests and smooth execution of endtoend tests across systems Influence support and guide Software Engineers to write and maintain automated functional tests through continuous integration to make quality a team deliverable Influence and shape enterprise quality roadmaps by running POCs suggesting tooling improvements and proactively enhancing frameworks for the wider quality community Lead and influence teams at different levels and scale to minimise inefficiencies and mitigate any risks for large scale deliveries

Qualification

To be considered for the role you must meet the below requirements 7 years in Information Technology degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience 5 years of experience using one or more of the following automation tools Selenium components WebdriverIO etc API Automation POSTMAN Saucelab Contract Testing PACT Expertise in Mobile App testing AndroidIOS Cloud automation AWS StagingProduction environments JIRA Qmetry Proficiency in at least 2 different programming languages preferably JavaScript Python and Java An iSQI Certified Agile Tester with experience in quality engineering roles involving the building of complex scalable and large software solutions in digital data or enterprise domains Experience working with VMs and containers both onprem and cloud offerings like Amazon and Google Cloud Solid experience as a Software Quality engineering lead or equivalent position looking after multiple products experience in providing product input on business process flows and scenario mapping for business solutions Experience in understanding and applying system thinking to advanced technology solutions for large complex organizations in a multifunctional environment experience with creating and maintaining largescale test data frameworks to support test automation Experience using git SCM tools GitLab or Bitbucket or similar tools Experienced with coding best practices and defining coding guidelines Highly experienced with developing automation frameworks from scratch built for UI and API testing and integration with CI pipelines Experience using CI tools like Jenkins Azure DevOps or equivalent Strong expertise with contextdriven and exploratory testing with practical experience in using a number of testing heuristicsPreferred skills Knowledge of HTMLCSS Figma SplunkAppDynamics Spinnaker PlayrightCypress Allure reports Micro Frontends Aware of the latest testing and technology trends including AI Automation and using them to improve daily practices Good to have an knowledge on accessibility testing
