Job Purpose

To carry out physical upcycling activities on aircraft materials and components, ensuring correct tagging, segregation, and handling in line with Emirates upcycling and recycling procedures. Work under the direction of the Upcycling Technician to support the objectives of the organization.

In This Role You Will

  • Perform sorting and physical segregation of aircraft parts and materials. Identify and separate parts based on upcycling/recycling potential, ensuring correct tagging, documentation, and handling. Follow established procedures and safety standards to support efficient material flow.
  • Follow upcycling/recycling SOPs for material handling and ensure readiness for the production process. This includes preparing and organizing materials as per specifications to ensure they are production-ready and minimizing delays. Coordinate with the Upcycling Technician to confirm material status and resolve any handling issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and obstruction-free workspace
  • Report any anomalies or unsafe practices to the Supervising Technician or Manager to prevent risks and maintain compliance with safety protocols.
  • Support the documentation process by accurately recording basic component data or in system tools. Ensure entries are timely and correctly reflect physical movement and processing of materials.
  • Assist with rostering, attendance tracking, overtime recording, and provide general administrative support to the Technician to help maintain accurate operational records.

Qualification

To be considered for the role you must meet the below requirements:

  • Obtains a Vocational or Diploma (12+2 or equivalent).
  • Diploma or Technical Certification in Engineering, Technology, or related discipline.
  • 4+ years in aircraft or industrial upcycling operations, with a focus on innovative, creative, and hands-on experience
