We are currently seeking a qualified Landscape Inspector to join our team for a major city development project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all landscape works are executed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and quality standards, while maintaining compliance with local regulations and environmental guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor landscape construction activities, including softscape and hardscape installations.
  • Verify that materials, plants, and workmanship meet project specifications and approved submittals.
  • Ensure compliance with municipal codes, environmental standards, and project-specific landscape guidelines.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project managers to resolve issues related to landscape execution.
  • Review and approve landscape shop drawings, material samples, and planting schedules.
  • Monitor irrigation system installation and ensure proper integration with landscape elements.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports, non-compliance notices, and recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Assist in final inspections and handover procedures, ensuring all landscape elements are completed to satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of landscape construction techniques, plant species, irrigation systems, and soil conditions.
  • Familiarity with local authority standards and environmental regulations.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspection tasks efficiently.
