Junior Commercial Manager

Buhler Group in Bangalore, India is looking for an experienced and skilled professional to join us as Junior Commercial Manager in our Finance team. This role would be responsible to identify, evaluate, structure and support customer project financings/needs and coordinate feasible financial solutions together with Group expert departments.

This is where youll excel

• Ensuring the commercial management of customer orders in the region.
• Management of commercial customer and supplier negotiations and interventions in contract disputes.
• Assure the fulfilment of Operational Risk Management Directive (ORM), compliance and any other internal and external rules
• Independently handle Merchanting Trade Transactions (MTT) as well as Project Export Applications (PEM) incl. bank reporting
• Handle daily trade finance matters (LC/guarantees, other payment securities, import licenses) such as application, request, negotiation, amendments, execution
• Ensure timely processing and monitoring of international payment transactions in foreign trade
• Ensure adherence to group guidelines as well as local Indian regulatory framework (RBI) for preparation, application timelines and documentation
• Manage FX exposure through hedging activities in collaboration with Corporate Treasury (inflow /outflows Intercompany) as well as project inflows/outflows with local Indian banks
  
  

These are the skills youll need

• Masters degree in business / economics / finance / law or similar education
• Minimum 8-15 years experience in Commercial, Foreign Trade Transactions, FEMA /Trade Finance function / Project Finance function / Commercial Management function with international and Cross-Trade Export experience
• Tools: Microsoft Office, SAP
