Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional problem-solving skills and have comprehensive technical knowledge to assist our organization in maintaining and improving our IT systems. This role involves working closely with both technical and non-technical staff to diagnose and resolve IT-related issues and ensure that our technology infrastructure supports our business objectives effectively. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our IT systems, focusing on maximizing performance, reliability, and customer service. We are looking for someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and is committed to continuous learning and improvement.


Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to end-users via various communication channels including email, phone, and in-person.
  • Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating systems and across a range of software applications.
  • Assist in the implementation of IT solutions and applications to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manage the setup and maintenance of computer systems and networks for new and existing employees.
  • Document internal procedures and maintain an accurate record of hardware and software inventory.
  • Perform regular software updates and patches to ensure compatibility and security of systems.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to monitor IT infrastructure and proactively address potential issues.
  • Assist in the management and maintenance of the organization’s server, storage, and backup systems.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
  • Research and identify solutions to software and hardware problems to aid quick resolution.
  • Coordinate with vendors for support and resolution of technical issues when necessary.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on effective use of technology resources and tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in an IT support or technical support role for at least two years.
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts, Windows, and Linux operating systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for troubleshooting practices.
  • Familiarity with various IT service management tools and applications.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Capability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
