Job Description

As an IT Support Specialist, you will serve as the backbone of our technical operations, ensuring that all systems and devices are running smoothly across the organization. Your role is crucial for maintaining the workflow and productivity by troubleshooting and resolving technology issues promptly. You will be interacting with users at all levels within the company, providing them with top-notch technical support and solutions. This position requires a customer-oriented approach, as well as an analytical mind to diagnose problems and generate effective solutions. You'll be expected to stay updated with the latest technology trends and assist in implementing them across the organization to enhance efficiency and performance.


Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to users through phone, email, and in person.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues for IT equipment.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and application software.
  • Assist with network monitoring and maintenance to ensure optimum performance.
  • Document all customer interactions, including problem resolutions and processes.
  • Facilitate user training sessions to maximize technology utilization and efficiency.
  • Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and track usage within the company.
  • Work collaboratively with the IT team to implement projects and upgrades.
  • Use ticketing systems to manage and track issues until they are resolved.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service during problem-solving processes.
  • Identify recurring technical issues and propose improvements to prevent them.
  • Stay informed about new technologies and trends to provide innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related IT field preferred.
  • Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or equivalent role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac OS, and Linux operating systems.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Effective communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
