Job Description

As an IT Manager, you will play a vital role in shaping and leading the technology landscape of our organization. You will be tasked with the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions to meet our company's needs. This will include directing all aspects of IT operations to meet customer requirements as well as supporting and maintaining existing applications and developing new technologies. You will have the opportunity to lead a dynamic team of professionals, implement fresh ideas, and contribute significantly to our continuous growth and efficiency. Your strategic insight, along with a hands-on approach to technology and a commitment to innovation, will be critical in delivering powerful IT solutions that drive business performance forward.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement IT strategies and infrastructure to meet company goals.
  • Manage, supervise, and guide IT staff members to ensure efficient operations.
  • Oversee the troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrade of IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
  • Ensure the security of IT systems and implement adequate risk management strategies.
  • Coordinate and oversee IT projects from inception to completion within budget and timeline.
  • Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs.
  • Negotiate with vendors, handle procurement, and manage relationships effectively.
  • Establish and implement IT policies and systems that will support the operational needs.
  • Design, develop, and implement effective software solutions and IT systems.
  • Facilitate technological transitions and promote new technologies within the organization.
  • Report regularly to upper management on the status of IT operations and projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required.
  • Proven experience as an IT manager or similar managerial role for several years.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructures, and IT frameworks like ITIL.
  • Experience in analyzing, implementing, and evaluating IT systems and specifications.
  • Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting, and business operations.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills essential.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical terms effectively.
