What We’re Looking For

✅ 15+ years of experience in IT application management or related fields.

• Three or more years of IT experience, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving and demonstrated leadership experience building cross-organizational consensus with exposure to technology providers and/or business clients
• Managing a team of at least six members in application development, implementation or management.
• Three or more years of BU or BU-facing experience, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving
• Minimum five years of design and implementation experience in IT, with a deep knowledge in a minimum of two of the following (or similar) technical disciplines: infrastructure and network design, application development, application programming interfaces (APIs), middleware, servers and storage, database management and operations, clustering technologies, virtualization, cloud technologies and Active Directory and protocols
• Three to six years’ experience in application development
• Strong background in most of the following: Python, C#.NET, XML, usability, Content Management, technical writing; intermediate background in the following: W3C Compliance, 508 Compliance, quality assurance.
  
  

• Developproductiverelationshipswithbusinessleadersacrosstheorganizationtoinfluence how applications can enable new sources of value.
• Ensure that applications processes (including those of external service providers) are conductedinlinewithcorporatesocialresponsibility,environmentalandtechnicalpolicies and applicable standards and legislation.
• Implementandmanageapplicationlifecyclemanagementstatusreporting,metricsand benchmarks.
• Overseeingtheassessmentofthetechnicalandbusinessfitnessoftheapplicationportfolio and their associated costs and risks.
• Working with stakeholders and the IT application team to define a prioritized set of business outcomes and application work to accomplish those outcomes within the limitations of the application budget.
• Overseeingsupportactivitiesinconjunctionwithinfrastructureandoperationstoensurethe applications perform well in production.
• WorkwithCLIENTManagerandotherCLIENTleaderstodevelopoverallITstrategyinthe context of the business strategy.
• Reviewstatusreportspreparedbyprojectpersonnel,andmodifyschedulesorplansas required.
• Managerelationshipswithmajorvendorsandserviceproviderstoensuretheycost- effectively meet the needs of the organization.
• Conductregularsurveysofstakeholdersatisfactionwithapplications,publishtheresults and, where necessary, implement action plans to improve satisfaction.
