Heavy Truck Driver

The Heavy Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating heavy-duty vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment across local or long-distance routes. The role demands strict adherence to traffic regulations, safety protocols, and timely delivery schedules. The ideal candidate must be physically fit, reliable, and possess a valid heavy vehicle driving license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy trucks in compliance with road and traffic regulations.

• Load, secure, and unload cargo safely and efficiently.

• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report mechanical issues.

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.

• Plan routes and adjust schedules based on traffic or delivery changes.

• Ensure cargo is delivered intact and on time.

• Follow safety procedures for hazardous or oversized loads.

• Communicate with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status.

• Keep trucks clean, fueled, and in good working condition.

• Adhere to all company policies, road safety, and environmental guidelines.

Requirements:

• Valid UAE heavy truck driving license (Category 4 or equivalent).

• Minimum 3 years of experience driving heavy-duty trucks.

• Clean driving record with no major violations.

• Ability to handle long-distance or shift driving.

• Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle repairs.

• Familiarity with GPS systems and local delivery routes.

• Physical fitness to load/unload or secure cargo.

• Good time management and reliability.
