POSITION

H&H Technician

Responsible for assisting the Team Leader in all site repairing and maitaining technical equipment/vehicles that includes a good working knowledge of auto mechancis and / or high and heavy vehicles, as well as the ability for practical work applications required. With working emphaiss on Health and Safety, Environmental Control and International Standard Orgination (ISO) practices. Ensuring all actions, maintenance or productions are completed in accordance with Managers / Customers / Manufacturers instructions.

Key Responsibilties

  • Assist in the movement, washing, cleaning and preparation of vehicles in the PDC.
  • Assist on any other task associated with the equipment as directed.
  • General cleaning and labour related tasks.
  • Assist in the upgrade and modification of existing systems as per Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) intructions.
  • Carry out paint preparation, minor body work and painting.
  • Assist in Material Handling Equipment operations.
  • Responsible for ensuring safety and environmental issues are obeserved by other employees.
  • Ensure that the values of the company are adhered to.
  • Assist in inventory, stock checks and logistical tasks.
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures, work instructions and notices are adhered to.
  • Ensure that all thimesheets and associated paperwork is filled in correctly.
  • Assist in Mechanical Assembly and Disassembly work under guidance.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Team Leader, Supervisor or Manager.
  • Able to support Container Stuffing & Destuffing

Job Requirements

Minimmum Qualification

  • Good English communication skills including reading, writing and speech.
  • Have a UAE MHE Drivers License (Manual).
  • Previous experience working in a similar environment.
  • At least two years exposure to Maintenance, Logistics, Product Distribution or similar experience (Desirable).
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and instructions (Desirable).
  • Be able to provide proof of previous employment with good conduct.
  • Satisfactory school or college certificates with acceptable grades.
