Job Description
The Healthcare Nutrition Specialist, also known as a Medical Representative, is responsible for promoting and educating healthcare professionals on nutritional products and solutions. They visit hospitals, clinics, and healthcare practices to establish and maintain relationships with healthcare providers. The Healthcare Nutrition Specialist presents product information, conducts product demonstrations, and answers any inquiries. They provide training and support to healthcare professionals, ensuring the proper use and application of nutritional products. Additionally, they participate in conferences and medical events to stay updated with industry advancements.
Responsibilities
- Visit healthcare professionals to promote and educate on nutritional products.
- Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare providers.
- Present product information and conduct product demonstrations.
- Respond to inquiries from healthcare professionals about the products.
- Provide training and support for healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop marketing strategies and materials.
- Attend conferences and medical events to stay updated with industry advancements.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Medical Representative or a similar role.
- Knowledge of nutrition and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
