Dental Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for patient care and a strong interest in the field of dentistry. Responsibilities include preparing patients for treatments, assisting the dentist during procedures, maintaining patient records, sterilizing instruments, and providing post-operative care instructions. The Dental Assistant must have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. A certificate or diploma in Dental Assisting is required, and previous experience in a dental office is preferred. Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment for dental procedures.
• Take and develop dental x-rays.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
• Maintain patient records and appointment schedules.
• Clean and set up treatment rooms between patients.
• Perform infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Assist with dental lab work such as making impressions of patients' teeth.
• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures.
• Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a dental assisting program from an accredited institution
• Certification in radiography and CPR
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
