We are seeking a Head of Programmatic to lead and grow the programmatic function within W Group and Hypermedia. This role will be responsible for driving programmatic strategy and execution across Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) advertising, ensuring the adoption and integration of programmatic solutions across internal teams, agency partners, and clients. You will act as a technical authority and thought leader, directly supporting the sales function, enabling the commercial teams to understand, sell, and apply programmatic advertising principles.
As a central figure in our programmatic journey, you will work closely with the Sales VP and Head of Sales and the wider Hypermedia sales team, guiding them on how to position programmatic as a value-added solution. Your role will bridge the gap between media, data, and technology by embedding the knowledge of the online and tech ecosystem into the DOOH space.
Key Responsibilities
Programmatic Strategy & Execution
Lead and manage the end-to-end programmatic offering across W Group and Hypermedia.
Design and implement media strategies leveraging DSPs, SSPs, ad servers, verification tools, and data partnerships.
Execute and optimize programmatic DOOH campaigns from setup through delivery, applying best practices in bid management, targeting, and data use.
Suggest tactics and scalable programmatic solutions that align with broader media plans and growth initiatives.
Develop pricing strategies with senior management, based on competitive market insights.
Sales Collaboration & Training
Collaborate closely with the VP of Sales and Sales Teams to develop prospecting strategies and support business development.
Mentor and train sales team members, especially the Hypermedia commercial unit, on programmatic concepts and practical application in DOOH advertising.
Act as a subject matter expert in client meetings and pitches, helping communicate technical concepts clearly and persuasively.
Campaign Analysis & Reporting
Own and manage insertion orders across advertisers, providing real-time and post-campaign insights.
Strategically oversee end-to-end pDOOH campaign operations with Partners/Clients ensuring seamless execution, rigorous quality control, and continual performance optimization.
Analyze campaign performance using advanced tools and generate custom client reports with actionable recommendations.
Leverage data from various sources (internal and external) to understand audience behaviors and set performance expectations for OOH touchpoints.
Innovation & Technical Integration
Maintain full technical understanding of the platform integration process and ensure seamless implementation.
Explore and recommend relevant social media programmatic opportunities in collaboration with the marketing team.
Keep up to date with market trends, audience behaviors, and technology evolution to ensure our offerings remain cutting-edge.
Required Technical Skills
Master Degree in IT or Digital Marketing, Communication, Business, or related tech field.
7-10 years of experience in media/programmatic advertising, including campaign management and analytics.
Deep expertise in digital programmatic (DSPs, SSPs, audience targeting); prior agency-side experience is a strong advantage.
Strong technical know-how and a keen understanding of the pDOOH advertising and technology landscape.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and quality control.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Proactive, solution-oriented, and a strong communicator — comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
Demonstrated experience in introducing new operational processes or strategies.
Familiarity with both qualitative and quantitative research methods is preferred.
