Job Description

A Front Desk Agent who is proficient in Arabic is an invaluable asset to any hospitality or service-oriented company. This role typically serves as the first point of contact for guests and plays a crucial part in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring a pleasant stay or visit experience for patrons. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English, providing assistance and information to guests who speak these languages. This position involves managing various tasks such as guest check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and attending to guest queries in a friendly and professional manner. Additionally, the candidate will serve as a liaison between guests and the management team to resolve any issues that arise, thereby enhancing the overall guest experience.


Responsibilities

  • Greet and check-in guests in a warm and professional manner.
  • Manage reservations using our booking systems and software efficiently.
  • Provide guests with information about local attractions and services.
  • Assist guests with any inquiries or complaints in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively in both Arabic and English with guests.
  • Process guest check-outs including calculating and collecting payments.
  • Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and inviting at all times.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping staff to ensure room readiness for check-ins.
  • Handle phone calls and redirect them to appropriate departments.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all guests and hotel information.
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Prepare and reconcile daily financial transactions and reports.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in both Arabic and English languages, verbal and written.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for the role.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail is required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Proficiency in using computers and familiarity with reservation systems.
  • Possession of a friendly and welcoming demeanor with a professional appearance.
