Fire Alarm Maintenance Supervisor

The Fire Alarm Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems to ensure full functionality and compliance with safety standards and UAE Civil Defence regulations. This role involves managing a team of technicians, coordinating maintenance schedules, and ensuring timely resolution of system issues. The supervisor plays a key role in promoting a safety-first culture, maintaining accurate documentation, and liaising with clients and safety authorities for audits and certifications.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems across multiple client sites.

• Scheduling and assigning tasks to maintenance technicians, ensuring timely and compliant execution of work.

• Conducting site inspections and system testing to ensure full functionality and adherence to UAE Civil Defence requirements.

• Diagnosing faults and overseeing corrective actions for fire alarm panels, detectors, control modules, and related components.

• Coordinating with contractors, clients, and third-party inspectors during audits, maintenance cycles, and certifications.

• Maintaining detailed records of system maintenance, repairs, inspections, and certifications for reporting and compliance.

• Providing technical training and support to technicians to ensure skill development and consistent service quality.

• Enforcing strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols at all job sites.

• Recommending improvements or upgrades to enhance system performance and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire alarm system maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

• In-depth knowledge of fire alarm systems, including addressable and conventional panels from major manufacturers.

• Familiarity with UAE Fire and Life Safety Code and Civil Defence requirements.

• Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage field teams and coordinate schedules.

• Good communication and reporting skills for client interaction and documentation.

• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software for fire alarm systems.
