Job Description

The Financial Controller plays a crucial role in overseeing the financial activities of the organization. This position involves managing financial processes, monitoring financial performance, developing budgets, and conducting financial analysis to support decision-making. The Financial Controller is responsible for preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and implementing internal controls to safeguard the company's assets. Additionally, they collaborate with various departments to provide financial guidance and support strategic business initiatives. The ideal candidate for this role possesses strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of accounting principles. A proven track record in financial management and leadership is essential. A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required, with a CPA or CMA certification preferred.


Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing financial strategies to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Overseeing the preparation of financial reports, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Monitoring and analyzing financial performance and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Managing the financial accounting, treasury, and tax functions of the organization.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Providing financial analysis and support for decision-making to senior management.
  • Managing relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
  • Developing and managing financial controls and risk management procedures.
  • Leading and developing the finance team, including training and performance management.
  • Participating in strategic planning and contributing to overall business growth.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial software and systems.
