Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and adaptable Financial Analyst & IT System Support professional. This dual role requires a proactive problem-solver who can support our financial analysis while also ensuring our IT systems run smoothly.


Key Accountabilities:


Financial Analyst

  • Assist in preparation of monthly reporting and quarterly investors reporting and perform variance analysis.
  • Support the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes by collecting data from different departments.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Liaise with financial reporting team/auditors for internal audit, yearend audit or any other compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather financial information and insights.
  • Preparation of banking documents for project finance.
  • Assist in ad-hoc financial projects and presentations.


IT System Support:

  • Systematic monitoring and control of budgetary activities (budget release, budget phasing, handling budget related queries etc.) across 03 software’s (NetSuite, NSPB and Pyango).
  • Facilitate and test the deployment of new workflows, such as the budget transfer process in Pyango.
  • Provide technical support to school administration teams to resolve Pyango system errors and issues.
  • Maintain accurate budget data through regular data loading, rollovers, additions, and corrections.
  • Support schools and related stakeholders with any budget/actual related queries.



Qualifications


Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: Two to three years of experience in a financial analyst, accounting, or similar role. Experience of the international education sector is desirable but not essential.

Competencies:

• Strong analytical, mathematical, communication and writing skills.

• Microsoft skills: Excel (V lookup, Pivot table, financial functions), Word and PPT.

• Familiarity with financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus.

• Ability to discuss and influence effectively at all levels.

• Excellent collaborative skills and able to quickly establish effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Finance acumen to enhance balance sheet, P&L management.

• Highly numerate.

• Flexible and able to manage tight deadlines.

• Positive and hands-on attitude (Strong interpersonal skills).
