A career in our Finance team, within the Deals line of service, will provide you the opportunity to drive value through robust financial planning, performance analysis, and strategic reporting.

Our team works closely with the Deals partners and Leadership to align financial performance with financial planning and strategic objectives. As part of the Deals Finance function, you will help develop financial models, forecast business performance, assess the impact on P&L, balance sheet, and cashflow, and ensure alignment with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. You will also support the design of reporting frameworks that provide transparency and enable informed decision-making.

In financial operations at PwC, you will focus on managing financial processes and confirming compliance with regulations. You will handle tasks such as financial reporting, budgeting, and risk management.

  • Analyze and report on revenue across the region.
  • Manage working capital in compliance with contractual arrangements and policies.
  • Forecast revenue (backlog) and reconcile against actuals.
  • Monitor performance and highlight any risks to the Deals Finance Lead / Business Unit Leaders.
  • Compile reports on business performance by Partner, Business Unit, Accounts, etc. as required.
  • Provide training and coaching to other team members as needed.
  • Prepare budgets and reforecasts by Business Unit and consolidate at Line of Service (LoS) level.
  • Review costs ensuring compliance with firm policy.
  • Supply auditors with the required information pertaining to engagement economics.
  • Review Net Investment / Working Capital at a LoS level and identify any exposures / risks Leadership needs to be made aware of for appropriate decision-making and planning.
  • Promote best practices across business units and improve regional team collaboration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 6-8 years of Finance or Accounting experience within a professional services firm.
  • Professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA, etc.) is a plus.
  • Extensive experience working with Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM is preferable.
  • Comfortable working across departments and regions; able to interact efficiently with senior members across the firm / region.
  • Affinity to work with quantitative data.
  • Strong analytical and communication (oral and written) skills.
  • English language required, Arabic is preferred
