Job Description

The Finance Manager is a pivotal role within any organization, responsible for maintaining the financial health and efficiency of the company. This position works closely with the executive management team to develop financial strategies that meet the company's objectives. The Finance Manager oversees all financial functions including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, investing, risk management, and financial reporting. Through keen analysis and implementation of financial goals, the Finance Manager ensures that the organization remains financially viable and healthy. Key responsibilities also include liaising with external auditors, managing organizational cash flow, and identifying opportunities for financial improvement. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, exceptional analytical skills, and a solid understanding of financial regulations and procedures.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting activities to guide financial planning initiatives.
  • Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor and manage organizational cash flow and liquidity requirements.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Implement effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy.
  • Supervise accounting staff and ensure efficient operation of the finance department.
  • Liaise with other departments to understand financial needs and strategies.
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections.
  • Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions to optimize funding and services.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international financial laws and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles is essential.
  • Professional qualification such as CPA or CFA is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Proven experience in managing financial teams and handling complex financial transactions.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective reporting and stakeholder engagement.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
