Job Description

The Food and Beverage (F&B) Supervisor is a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the daily operations within dining establishments, ensuring a seamless dining experience for guests. This position involves supervising the team, implementing strategies to boost sales, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and maintaining high service standards. The F&B Supervisor will also work closely with the management to enforce company policies, optimize the restaurant's logistical aspects, and uphold guest satisfaction. Moreover, their role necessitates constant collaboration with chefs, staff, and other departments within the establishment, ensuring a harmonized service operation. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the food and beverage department efficiently and effectively.
  • Supervise staff performance, conducting regular evaluations to ensure high standards.
  • Coordinate training sessions for new and existing staff to enhance service quality.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Maintain inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks and placing orders as needed.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and implement seasonal menus.
  • Develop and monitor operating budgets to maximize profitability and control costs.
  • Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally, offering prompt resolutions.
  • Implement marketing strategies to boost the establishment's presence and increase sales.
  • Ensure all equipment and facilities are maintained and functioning properly.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management detailing operational insights.
  • Work on staff scheduling to ensure optimal coverage during peak hours.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an F&B Supervisor or similar role in hospitality.
  • Exceptional leadership skills to motivate and guide a diverse team effectively.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and health regulations and standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with staff and patrons.
  • Ability to manage budgets and analyze financial reports accurately.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
