Role OverviewThe Senior Event Producer - Dubai SUP & Dubai Yoga is responsible for the operational planning, production, and delivery of Dubai Stand Up Paddle and Dubai Yoga, two high-profile DFC events with distinct venue, safety, and programming requirements. The role oversees both events holistically, ensuring operational consistency while respecting the specific technical and safety needs of water-based and wellness-focused delivery.The role works closely with the appointed mass events delivery agency, Fitness Villages teams, internal stakeholders, and city authorities to ensure safe, high-quality execution and strong participant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide senior operational leadership for the planning and delivery of Dubai SUP and Dubai Yoga.
• Manage and direct the appointed delivery agency across both events, ensuring scope, timelines, and quality standards are met.
• Lead coordination with relevant authorities and stakeholders, including maritime safety, venue management, and public safety entities.
• Oversee all operational workstreams including water safety, venue layouts, programming schedules, participant flow, and logistics.
• Coordinate closely with Fitness Villages teams and Partnership Operations to ensure alignment of branding, programming, and on ground delivery.
• Act as the primary escalation point for operational risks and on-ground issues during delivery.
• Lead post-event reporting, reconciliation, and close-out for both events.

June

• Complete onboarding and formal alignment with the Head of Operations and wider DFC Operations Team.
• Lead operational onboarding with the appointed delivery agency, confirming scope, responsibilities, governance, and escalation protocols for bothevents.
• Review previous Dubai SUP and Dubai Yoga playbooks, risk logs, and post event reports.
• Confirm scope ownership, milestones, and governance structure.

• Lead detailed operational planning for Dubai SUP and Dubai Yoga, ensuring appropriate differentiation between water-based and venue-based delivery.
• Oversee early development of water safety plans, venue zoning, participant flow, and operational layouts.
• Initiate and lead engagement with relevant authorities, including maritime safety, venue management, and public safety stakeholders.
• Support development and refinement of entertainment, programming, and experiential concepts, ensuring operational feasibility.
• Provide structured progress reporting and risk updates to the Head of Operations.

• Oversee development of detailed operational plans, layouts, schedules, and delivery documentation for both events.
• Coordinate commercial and branding requirements with Partnership Operations.
• Support refinement and finalisation of approved entertainment and programming concepts.
• Ensure authority submissions, approvals, and NOCs are progressing in line with programme timelines.
• Identify, track, and mitigate operational risks and interdependencies across both events.

• Lead lock-down of all operational, production, and delivery scopes for Dubai SUP and Dubai Yoga.
• Confirm final safety plans, venue layouts, programming schedules, and contingency measures.
• Ensure entertainment, branding, and activation elements are fully integrated into operational and safety plans.
• Conduct formal readiness and risk review sessions with the delivery agency and key stakeholders.
  
  

October

• Oversee final preparations and pre-event readiness activities.
• Manage pre build-up coordination across water and land-based venues.
• Ensure operational readiness ahead of the DFC live period.
• Resolve high-impact issues and manage escalations as required.
  
  

November

• Lead live operational delivery of Dubai SUP and Dubai Yoga.
• Manage on-ground command, real-time issue resolution, and stakeholder coordination.
• Oversee decommissioning, venue reinstatement, and handover to relevant authorities and venue owners.
  
  

December

• Lead post-event reporting, operational close-out, and reconciliation for both events.
• Consolidate agency reports, authority feedback, and operational learnings.
• Document recommendations and formally hand over to the Head ofOperations.
  
  

Candidate ProfileMinimum 8 years’ experience delivering complex outdoor or sporting events.Experience with water-based events, wellness programming, or multi-venue delivery is highly desirable.Strong background in safety planning, authority coordination, and agency management.Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.Comfortable operating under pressure during live event delivery.
