Job Description

As an ERP System Analyst, you will play a critical role in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of ERP systems to meet the strategic objectives of our organization. Your primary responsibility is to ensure smooth, reliable, and efficient operation of ERP applications. You will work closely with various departments to analyze their processes and determine how they can be improved through technology. This includes configuring the ERP system to meet business needs, troubleshooting any issues that arise, and ensuring users are properly trained. You'll need a keen understanding of both business processes and technical systems, and you must be adept at bridging those two realms. This role is ideal for someone who excels at problem-solving and has a strong background in IT and business operations.


Responsibilities

  • Analyze and evaluate business processes to design effective ERP solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand system requirements and improvements.
  • Configure and customize ERP applications to optimize functionality and performance.
  • Provide day-to-day support for ERP applications including diagnosing issues.
  • Lead and assist in ERP implementations and upgrade projects as required.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to the ERP system and procedures.
  • Train staff and end-users on the efficient use of the ERP systems.
  • Ensure data integrity and security of ERP systems through regular audits.
  • Coordinate with IT teams to ensure infrastructure supports ERP system needs.
  • Monitor system performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Assist with vendor management and software acquisition relevant to ERP systems.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and make recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an ERP System Analyst or similar role in IT.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems, particularly in configuration and support.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex systems.
  • Solid knowledge of business processes, especially in finance or operations areas.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Strong communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical staff.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
