Overall Purpose of The Job
The overall purpose of the job includes, to collect, review and update technical information required for repairs, conversions and modification projects of vessels enrolled with docking function.
Manage the Technical Documents of vessels Due for Dry Dock, to the highest Safety Standards in compliance with legal and Flag, Class , Statutory maritime regulatory requirements and in accordance with VMS, ensuring outstanding service delivery to customers.
To ensure that all Docking Documents are processed in accordance VMS and Docking function’s internal processes and that all appropriate survey certification documents are up to date.
Plan, control all Technical Documents relating to all activities connected with Dry Dock, maintenance, repairs, conversion, or modification of assigned vessels.
To drive the maximum data capture for every individual docking / repair / conversion project through the company approved project management application.
Key Responsibilities And Tasks
Draft and update dry docking specifications in co-ordination with Project Managers / Stake holders.
Collect job reports, certificates, drawings , checklists from vessels, vendors, and internal departments.
Review and ensure the technical documents are accurate , complete and aligned with format and regulatory expectations and auditable at all times.
Update project activities and status in Shipsure, Company approved project management system, SharePoint and tracker documents as necessary on regular basis.
Co-ordinate with Class and Flag state portals for submission and retrieval of certification and class statuses.
Support preparation of dashboards, data logs, and performance summaries.
Prepare and organize document sets for view meetings, client reports and internal meetings.
Collaborate effectively with the team to maintain the project data and logs, dashboards to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Essential
Degree in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture with 2-4 years of experience in technical domain, especially Dry Docking, Ship Repair Planning or Classification Society related processes.
Good understanding of shipboard systems, docking cycles and compliance requirements.
Strong attention to details and ability to work under deadlines.
Effective co-ordination and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS-Office, SharePoint, Shipsure and Familiarity with Power BI or document dashboard is desirable.
Desirable
Working experience in Marine/Technical and Docking Industry.
