Job Description

The role of an ELV (Extra Low Voltage)/ICT (Information and Communication Technology) Project Manager is critical in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of technology-focused projects. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise and project management skills. As an ELV/ICT Project Manager, you will coordinate and oversee various projects involving systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarms, and communication networks. This involves working closely with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure that project objectives are met within the stipulated timeframes and budget. Your role will require consistent and effective communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills to manage resources efficiently and mitigate potential risks. You are also expected to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices while fostering innovation to deliver high-quality solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and oversee the execution of ELV/ICT projects from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate with clients to gather project requirements and deliver customized solutions.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, budget, and timeline documentation.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives and deliverables are met successfully.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and progress.
  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks associated with project execution and delivery.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Facilitate efficient resource management, including allocation and scheduling of personnel and materials.
  • Pursue continuous improvement by adopting the latest technologies and methodologies in project management.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management and stakeholders at project milestones.
  • Provide training, support, and guidance to project team members when necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, ICT, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience in managing ELV or ICT projects with successful delivery outcomes.
  • Strong project management skills, including experience with relevant project management software.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills to drive team performance.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project dynamics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems, communication networks, and related technologies.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification will be considered an advantageous asset.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements is essential.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required to ensure successful project execution.
