Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and fixtures in accordance with regulations.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards and defects.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, using test equipment and tools to determine root problems.
• Plan the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring and equipment.
• Follow state and local building regulations based on the national electrical code.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and diagnose electrical problems in both residential and commercial settings.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring.
• Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety procedures.
• Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment.
• Maintain records detailing work performed and the parts utilized in each service task.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as an Electrician in a related field or sector.
• High school diploma or relevant certification from a technical training program.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and best practices for installation and repair.
• Familiarity with safety and preventive maintenance protocols and procedures.
• Ability to work well independently or as part of a skilled team of technicians.
• Excellent physical condition and hand-eye coordination required for this role.
• Valid electrician license and certification in accordance with local laws and regulations.
