Job Description

An HR Business Partner is a strategic role in the Human Resources department, essential for bridging the gap between HR and management. This position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The HR Business Partner acts as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues and develops integrated solutions. They are required to establish and maintain an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture, and its competition. The ultimate goal is to enhance the effectiveness of the organization through the development of people strategies that are aligned with business goals. It requires a proactive approach in fostering a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement, productivity, and overall organizational success.


Responsibilities

  • Align HR strategies with business objectives to drive organizational success.
  • Provide HR expertise and solutions to business unit leadership teams.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues in a consistent manner.
  • Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
  • Lead talent management and succession planning activities for business units.
  • Design and implement workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR group to develop solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all labor regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement employee engagement programs.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
  • Act as a change agent to manage organizational changes effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar HR role.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices essential.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in HR software like HRIS or LMS systems is advantageous.
