JOB TITE: ELECTRICAL SITE SUPERVISION ENGINEER (SWITCHGEAR & TRANSFORMER)

Responsibilities

  • Perform site activities for Transmission power substation Equipment such as Gas insulated Switchgear rated 132kv & 400kv and power Transformer rated 132/11kv & 400/132kv.
  • Site Safe Receipt Procurement Inspection, installation, Testing activities in line with the approved test forms.
  • Validate approved design drawings and review As-built drawings.
  • Maintain the overall quality of transmission equipment by resolving conflicts occurred during site activities related to technical issues, reviewing method statement, reporting non-conformities to line Manager and follow up with stakeholders for rectification.
  • Follow and adhere to the OH&S Management System Manual as per DEWAs safety standards.
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by the reporting line manager.

Education & Experience/Qualification

Education

  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering

Experience/Qualification

  • Minimum 5 -7 years experience in high voltage transmission field of substation equipment
  • Problem solving skills
  • Knowledge in International Standards (IEEE, IEC, BS)
  • Proficiency in technical report writing
