Job Description
JOB TITE: ELECTRICAL SITE SUPERVISION ENGINEER (SWITCHGEAR & TRANSFORMER)
Responsibilities
- Perform site activities for Transmission power substation Equipment such as Gas insulated Switchgear rated 132kv & 400kv and power Transformer rated 132/11kv & 400/132kv.
- Site Safe Receipt Procurement Inspection, installation, Testing activities in line with the approved test forms.
- Validate approved design drawings and review As-built drawings.
- Maintain the overall quality of transmission equipment by resolving conflicts occurred during site activities related to technical issues, reviewing method statement, reporting non-conformities to line Manager and follow up with stakeholders for rectification.
- Follow and adhere to the OH&S Management System Manual as per DEWAs safety standards.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by the reporting line manager.
Education
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 -7 years experience in high voltage transmission field of substation equipment
- Problem solving skills
- Knowledge in International Standards (IEEE, IEC, BS)
- Proficiency in technical report writing
