Electrical Foreman (225-630)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Foreman to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and a proven track record of supervising and managing electrical projects from inception to completion. As an Electrical Foreman, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the work of electricians and other related workers on a variety of projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your leadership abilities, combined with technical expertise, will be critical in driving project success and ensuring safety and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the work of electricians and electrical workers on site.
• Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Interpret electrical drawings and specifications for workers to execute correctly.
• Estimate and plan material, labor, and time requirements for project completion.
• Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are strictly adhered to on site.
• Maintain detailed project documentation and progress reports for management review.
• Conduct regular team meetings to update project status and address any issues.
• Identify training needs and coordinate training sessions for team development.
• Collaborate with other construction managers and trades for project synergy.
• Oversee the maintenance and proper functioning of electrical equipment and tools.
• Resolve any site conflicts and issues efficiently to avoid project disruptions.
• Review blueprints and technical documents to plan forthcoming project phases.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of electrical experience with progressive leadership roles.
• Valid electrical license or certification in accordance with governmental regulations.
• Excellent knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and building regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills required for success.
• Proficient in interpreting electrical blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
• Must be able to work in high-pressure environments and meet tight deadlines.
