Echo Cardiographer

We are seeking a skilled and certified Echo Cardiographer to join our medical imaging team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic echocardiograms and related ultrasound procedures, assisting physicians in the evaluation of cardiovascular health, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms as requested by cardiologists

• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort

• Capture clear and accurate images for diagnostic interpretation

• Analyze results and provide preliminary findings to the supervising physician

• Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance

• Ensure documentation and records are accurate and updated in the hospital system

• Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

• Adhere to patient confidentiality and medical safety protocols at all times

• Stay up-to-date with the latest echocardiography techniques and technologies

• Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians or students if required

  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Imaging, Cardiovascular Technology, or a related field

• Valid license or eligibility is mandatory

• Minimum 3 years of experience in echocardiography, preferably within the UAE or GCC

• Proficiency in operating echocardiography machines and interpreting basic findings

• Familiarity with digital imaging and reporting systems (e.g., PACS)

• Strong attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases efficiently

• Knowledge of UAE healthcare regulations and patient care standards

• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage
