About the role:

Own the dry utilities workstream for urban development in the UAE: power (HV/LV), potable/TSE/wastewater, telecom/ICT, duct banks/street lighting, and diversions. You’ll set standards, navigate authority approvals, drive BIM/CAD quality, and ensure constructability from concept through IFC and delivery support.

What you’ll do

• Lead dry utilities design across concept, detailed design, and IFC; sign off on calculation packages and technical reports.
• Orchestrate multi-disciplinary coordination (roads/structures/landscape/architecture/wet utilities) for clash-free, buildable corridors.
• Drive UAE authority/NOC engagements and compliance with applicable municipal/utility standards.
• Govern model/drawing production (Civil 3D/OpenRoads, Navisworks/BIM 360/ACC) and enforce CAD/BIM standards.
• Support RFIs/submittals/site queries; de-risk staging, protection, and trenchless works (HDD/micro-tunnelling).
• Contribute to bids/fees, variation identification, resourcing, and utilisation; sustain client relationships.
• Mentor junior engineers/designers; codify best practices and lessons learned.

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years’ dry utilities experience on urban/infrastructure projects; UAE/GCC experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s in Engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent; chartered/registration (CEng/PE/CPEng/RPEQ or equivalent) preferred.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D/OpenRoads, Navisworks/ACC, and collaboration platforms (MS 365).
• Strong stakeholder/authority interface and proven delivery to scope, cost, schedule, quality, and HSE.
• Excellent English; Arabic advantageous.
