We are recruiting for a 7-month contract maternity cover to lead a team of resourcing consultants across onshore and offshore locations.

Drive strategic workforce planning, including annual budgeting and development of a regional resourcing model.

Act as the main point of contact for senior stakeholders, resolving conflicts and ensuring data accuracy.

Leverage reporting tools and coach the team to support business priorities and deliver resourcing excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 4 resourcing consultants (on & offshore) driving process and best practice across the service line
  • Be responsible for the Resourcing of +700 consultants across two countries
  • Lead and re-define the Annual Budgeting & Staffing Process
  • Help define a Regional Resourcing Model for the Middle East in line with clustering
  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned portfolios, delivering the day-to-day deployment requirements
  • Ensure Retain is the one source of truth for all staff planning data
  • Act as an escalation point for the Resourcing Team, providing solutions
  • Manage resourcing conflicts and priorities
  • Develop excellent working relationship with key stakeholders such as the Head of Audit, Audit COO, Audit Partner & Director Group
  • Monitor Emirati utilization and ensure they are appropriately coached and leveraged on Audit engagements
  • Leverage offshore / contingent workforce options
  • Build relationships with regional resourcing counterparts (Saudi Arabia & others)
  • Use PowerBI and other reporting tools to bring insights to leadership and mitigate a potential risk to utilization
  • Coach and upskill the team
  • Share best practice with Tax & Advisory Resource Management Teams
  • Take an active role in resource management projects and initiatives
  • Ability to contribute to and support delivery of our strategic objectives and manage any resultant change
  • Understand the pipeline opportunities to enable appropriate decisions about available resources

Requirements

  • +8 years Resource management experience
  • Senior stakeholder management - strong relationship skills including communicating and influencing
  • Experience in leading a team
  • Familiar with the budget cycle & conflict management
  • Confident in implementing change
  • Manage conflicting deadlines and priorities
  • Ability to use management information to drive decision making
  • Be commercially minded and use this knowledge to influence business outcomes
