Responsibilities

Collaborate with project managers to perform accurate budget forecasts and cost assessments.
Analyze project executions regularly, identifying variances from planned costs and recommending solutions.
Generate comprehensive financial reports to inform strategic decision-making and project reviews.
Monitor actual spending against budget forecasts, identifying potential cost savings opportunities.
Foster a consistent approach to cost management across multiple departments or project teams.
Oversee the maintenance and improvement of cost control databases and systems.
Liaise with procurement teams to negotiate cost-effective contracts with reliable suppliers and vendors.
Train and mentor junior staff in cost control and financial analysis methodologies.
Evaluate financial data and trends to guide strategic planning and budgeting processes.
Maintain compliance with financial regulations and enhance internal cost control policies.
Lead financial risk assessments and implement procedures to mitigate potential impacts.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of five years of experience in cost management or financial analysis.
Strong proficiency in financial management software and advanced MS Excel skills.
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Proven track record in managing budgets for large-scale projects successfully.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for stakeholder engagement.
Professional certification such as CCA, CPA, or CMA is highly desirable.
