Job Purpose

As a Client Relationship Manager, you will provide tailored travel management solutions to multinational and large local clients. You will play a key role in driving client retention and business growth by building strong partnerships with Business Development and Operations teams. Your focus will be on understanding and anticipating client needs, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and recommending the most suitable solutions to support their goals and align with the company’s strategic direction.

In this role, you will

  • Monitor client revenues for multinational and large local accounts and recommend improvement strategies to the line manager; hold responsibility for client profitability
  • Liaise with clients locally and regionally to establish standardized and consolidated travel policies, accounting processes, corporate deals, and contractual obligations
  • Lead communication among all stakeholders post-implementation and generate detailed MIS reports to support decision-making at all levels, including client headquarters
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities, and share insights and recommendations with the line manager
  • Promote the business’s product portfolio to clients through all available channels to maximize sales and revenue
  • Ensure that management policy decisions and relevant industry updates are promptly communicated to both clients and front-line employees
  • Manage financial bids for regional or global service consolidation; present recommendations to clients and stakeholders
  • Serve as the primary Client Relationship Manager for multinational and large local clients; represent the business at regional and global client meetings and advise the line manager on follow-up actions
  • Demonstrate the value of the business through strong product knowledge and develop pricing, product solutions, or campaigns aligned with client expectations
  • Lead or participate in projects to drive efficiency, including SOP development, process improvement, and industry trend research, ensuring compliance with group project management standards
  • Guide, train, and coach team members; review performance regularly and address gaps to maintain a high-performing UAE Sales Team
  • Ensure compliance with regional and global agreements and support consolidations that benefit the business, meeting client deadlines without compromising data or proposal quality
  • Negotiate with vendors on behalf of clients to secure optimal deals that maximize savings and brand exposure
  • Liaise with internal service departments (Revenue Accounts, IT, E-Commerce, Product, CASA, Credit Control) to ensure operational support, timely payment recovery, and overall client satisfaction

Qualification

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience in Sales or Customer Relations, including at least 3 years working with regional and global airlines
  • Strong negotiation skills with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management
  • Proficient in conducting statistical reviews, analysing results, and recommending improvements to operational methods and processes
  • Advanced MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to senior management
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload and focus on initiatives with the highest business impact

You’ll have an edge if you have

  • Proficiency in other languages is a plus; Arabic (written and spoken) is particularly advantageous
