Chief Financial Officer supporting Lenovos International Sales Organization within the EMEA region.Specifically, this role supports Middle East (excluding Saudia Arabia), Africa and Turkey markets.
Job Description
As the META market CFO you will:
Partner with the VP General Manager to drive Lenovos revenue and profitability, continue to grow the business and maintain competitiveness in the market
Plan and execute an efficient budget and forecast process in consideration of defined Group guidelines and standard
Partner with the Customer Segment and Business Unit Leaders to ensure proper planning and execution of quarterly business planning; highlighting any deviations in a timely fashion
Continuous analysis and optimization of internal processes
Development of key business figures and corresponding reports to provide the best possible support for management in controlling the group of companies
Interface to internal and external tax advisors
Direct proper and timely financial controlling and accounting on defined financial policies, procedures, and legal regulations
Direct and oversee organizational financial activities including preparation of financial reports, cash management, insurance, audit, tax, legal, corporate documents, etc.
Analyze and support efficient working capital management as well as control the investment budgets - Initiate and discuss measures to improve business performance with management
Participate in leadership team meetings to provide summary of financial operations of the company and discuss strategic financial opportunities
Your Detailed Responsibilities
Financial metrics
Deliver and exceed financial Targets on Market Share, Revenue, Profitability
Ensure proper Balance Sheet
Financial Reporting
Provide information to management on the actual status of the business development by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, presenting findings, analyses, and recommendations
Weekly tracking of financial status by monitoring variances from plan (Revenue, AUR, Gross Profit other implications); Budget/Forecast vs. Actual variance analysis and risk/opportunity tracking; Execute enhance existing and develop new tools for Finance sales management to track business performance; Work close with the business teams on the different planning cycles.
Financial analytics
Responsible for consolidation and monthly journal entry of Future Billing Adjustment (FBA) Inventory accruals
Prepare monthly consolidated and regional financial analyses
Drive simplifications to improve, streamline increase efficiency within financial reporting month end closing activities
Analyze key financial metrics and provide recommendations to the business based on the findings
One Lenovo
Collaborate across BGs and across functions: establish a long-term organization to drive One Lenovo under the umbrella of the Internal Sales Organization (ISO) in EMEA
Customer Experience (CX) KPIs
Establish a solid relationship with top partners in the markets through quarterly meetings andactively participate in regular Partner Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs); become the go-to person for all finance related matters for the Partners
What Youll Bring/ Position Requirements
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as financial modelling capabilities
Hands-on Mentality
Strategic thinking
Experience in international working environment, experienced in working in matrix organizations
Degree in Accounting/Finance and/or 10+ years of related experience
