Your impact

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Bridge Design Engineer to join our growing Bridges team, in the UAE, delivering major bridge schemes across the Middle East. From long-span crossings to architecturally iconic structures, you’ll play a key role in shaping the region’s infrastructure.

We offer a full spectrum of services to a diverse range of clients, taking bridge solutions from initial concept through development, regulatory approvals, construction and commissioning to start-up and ongoing operational and maintenance support. We’ve worked on some of the longest cable-supported structures in the world, on the owner and construction side of the equation, serving as lead designer, technical advisor, independent design-checker and public-private partnership (P3) advisor. We also have extensive experience with multi-span viaducts, complex interchanges, moving bridges, arch, truss and other forms of bridges.

We’ve designed bridges spanning roads, railways and rivers, crossing valleys, estuaries and sea straits, connecting communities and creating opportunities for social change and economic development. Our bridge team has played lead roles planning, procuring, designing and delivering some of the worlds most prestigious and technically demanding structures, not to mention beautiful.

In the role you’ll

  • Input and contribute to the technical design and efficient high-quality delivery of major bridge projects.
  • Collaborate with clients and global teams to develop innovative, compliant solutions.
  • Oversee project workflows, ensuring quality, timelines, and technical excellence.
  • Support team development, including mentoring junior engineers.

Heres what youll need

  • Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of bridge design experience, with high speed rail and railway bridge experience being highly desirable
  • Experience of design and build schemes in the Middle East, and internationally
  • Thorough knowledge of international standards (e.g. Eurocodes, AASHTO, DMRB).
  • Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., MIDAS, RM).
  • Bilingual capabilities are a plus – but not essential (English required - plus Arabic)
  • A positive, highly motived approach, with excellent communication and collaboration skills


This is primarily an office-based role (based in Dubai/Abu Dhabi, UAE), and we provide a hybrid working model (office & WFH), but please note travel to our client sites or offices, and for business purposes, may also be required from time to time, depending on needs of the project.
