About The Role

As the Chef de Cuisine, Seafire – you will manage and organise all requirements of the restaurant kitchen to the highest standards in accordance with the standard operating procedures. You will ensure proper hygiene and sanitation in the workplace under your jurisdiction, and ensure adequate stocks of working materials, as well as inter–department coordination and training. You will also carry full responsibility for the operating equipment, including its inventory levels, and maintain the resort food cost at all times, as well as managing other business necessities such as the kitchen P&L. You must ensure and enforce the set service standard procedures by directing, supervising, and motivating staff to perform to their highest level of service. You will communicate with the guests and share feedback with the team and the management, ensuring high levels of food and service quality and guest satisfactions are always maintained.

About You

The ideal candidate must have a Diploma in Catering or similar and have 8-10 years’ experience in a 5-star international chain/hotel, whilst having a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a management role, such as a CDC or similar. You will be well versed with working in a high-end steak restaurant, or having a predominant steakhouse background and a proven track record working within a restaurant of this style.
