We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Buying Intern to join our dynamic Buying team at Ounass for a period of 6 months. This internship offers hands-on experience in the buying cycle, from trend research and assortment planning to vendor communication and sales analysis. Youll gain exposure to how a luxury retail or fashion business curates and delivers an exceptional product selection to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist buyers with product selection, assortment planning, and seasonal range development
- Support in preparing purchase orders and tracking deliveries with suppliers
- Conduct competitor and market research to identify trends and pricing strategies
- Help maintain and update product data in internal systems (e.g. descriptions, pricing, imagery)
- Monitor stock levels, sell-through rates, and assist in preparing weekly sales reports
- Liaise with cross-functional teams such as Planning, Marketing, and E-commerce to ensure product information accuracy
- Assist in sample management, including receiving, organizing, and preparing samples for reviews or photoshoots
- Attend brand meetings or showroom appointments with buyers (where applicable) and prepare follow-up notes
- Provide general administrative support to the Buying team
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion, Business, or a related field
- A strong interest in retail, fashion, or luxury buying
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Analytical and comfortable working with numbers and spreadsheets
- A proactive, curious mindset and a willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills and a team player
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace (or equivalent tools)
