Job Description

As a Business Development Manager in the Marketing and Advertising sector, you will be instrumental in driving the growth and expansion of the company by identifying new business opportunities and building strong client relationships. Your role will focus on understanding the market dynamics, analyzing potential areas for expansion, and developing strategies to improve company revenues. This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, consultative sales skills, and proactive negotiations as you will be responsible for fostering partnerships and enhancing our client portfolio. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that our advertising products meet current market demands and exceed client expectations, thereby solidifying our reputation as a leader in the marketing industry.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for company growth and revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Analyze market trends to identify new areas for company expansion and innovation.
  • Create and present persuasive sales presentations to potential clients and partners.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies that align with business goals.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure beneficial partnerships for the company.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to understand industry landscape and improve market position.
  • Oversee the sales process from prospecting through to closure and client retention.
  • Coordinate with client services to ensure smooth delivery of advertising projects.
  • Prepare and present periodic sales performance reports to senior management or stakeholders.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to network and promote the company’s services.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for increasing operational efficiency and sales effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or similar roles within the advertising sector.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, advertising trends, and industry dynamics.
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite for business development tasks.
