Job Description

The Business Development Executive is a crucial member of the sales and marketing team, responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive company growth. This professional acts as a bridge between the company and its future clients, focusing on building relationships, understanding market trends, and creating strategies to enhance the company's market position and financial growth. The role demands strong analytical skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to communicate effectively with potential clients and stakeholders. Responsibilities

  • Identify potential business opportunities by researching industry trends and market conditions.
  • Conduct meetings, presentations, and negotiations with prospective clients to secure new business.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to increase company revenue and market share.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing department to craft promotional strategies and marketing plans.
  • Monitor and analyze sales and marketing metrics to ensure the achievement of business goals.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, contracts, and presentations to potential clients and partners.
  • Work with internal teams to provide client feedback and improve service delivery and product offerings.
  • Attend industry conferences, networking events, and trade shows to generate client leads and increase brand awareness.
  • Track and report on the progress of business development activities to senior management regularly.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with potential clients leveraging company capabilities and client needs.
  • Maintain a comprehensive CRM database of client and potential customer contacts for future reference.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and business growth objectives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop strategic solutions for clients.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other business development tools and platforms.
