Job Description

A Business Analyst plays a crucial role in helping organizations improve their processes, products, services, and software through data analysis. They act as a bridge between IT and the business to ensure that requirements and solutions are aligned with business goals. A Business Analyst works closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements. They need to possess strong analytical skills, business knowledge, and excellent communication abilities to succeed in this role. They contribute significantly to major organizational decisions by providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis and process assessments. Business Analysts are pivotal in facilitating change by developing strategies that drive business process improvements and enhance operational efficiency.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough analysis of business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for IT solutions.
  • Facilitate the implementation of business solutions to meet organizational needs.
  • Prepare clear and detailed business requirement documents for stakeholders.
  • Perform data analysis to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate the outcome of implemented solutions.
  • Ensure the organization's resources are used effectively to improve business outcomes.
  • Support project management teams in developing and maintaining project schedules and plans.
  • Serve as a liaison between business units and IT departments for seamless communication.
  • Monitor and report on business performance and process improvements.
  • Provide training and support to team members on new systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are essential.
  • Proven experience with business process modeling and improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and business intelligence software is required.
  • Experience with project management and software development life cycle is beneficial.
