Job Description

A Business Analyst is a key player in bridging the gap between IT and the business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders. Situated at the intersection of the organization’s IT capabilities and its business objectives, a Business Analyst plays an instrumental role in enhancing business growth by formulating strategic approaches, optimizing operations, and improving business processes. Their expertise in modeling business operations and forecasting potential outcomes is an invaluable asset in the company’s decision-making process. Responsibilities

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to inform business decisions and strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
  • Assist in developing and implementing business process improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to align on project scope and objectives.
  • Create business models and data flow diagrams to streamline information systems.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Monitor business process outcomes and provide insights to guide future decisions.
  • Ensure solutions align with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with business processes and projects.
  • Evaluate current business processes and suggest solutions for improvement and efficiency.
  • Assist in prioritizing initiatives based on business needs, requirements, and resources.
  • Support the development and maintenance of project schedules and tracking progress.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a related analytical role.
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and potential sector challenges.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
  • Ability to conduct cost/benefit and needs analysis for business projects.
  • Proficiency in business analytics tools and software, including Excel and BI tools.
