Job Description

An Assistant Relationship Manager plays a pivotal role in client engagement within financial institutions, ensuring high standards of customer care and strategic management of client portfolios. This position involves close collaboration with senior relationship managers to meet client needs and support daily operations. The Assistant Relationship Manager develops a clear understanding of the clients’ financial goals, offering tailored advice and solutions to help them achieve their objectives. In addition, they serve as a reliable point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and facilitating smooth communications between the clients and the organization. The role demands a balance of financial acumen, customer service skills, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.


Responsibilities

  • Assist senior relationship managers in managing a portfolio of client accounts.
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' financial needs and objectives.
  • Provide support in preparing financial proposals and presentations for clients.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments of client portfolios for accuracy.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between clients and the organization.
  • Handle client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist in identifying sales opportunities and promoting relevant financial products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in customer service or client management roles.
  • Strong understanding of financial products and services offered by banks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and present viable solutions effectively.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for managing client records.
  • Proficiency in using financial management software and CRM platforms.
