Job Description

An Assistant Relationship Manager plays a crucial role in supporting senior relationship managers by providing service and sales support to clients, helping to develop and maintain client relationships, and managing transactions. This position serves as a bridge between clients and the organization, ensuring that clients receive unparalleled service and guidance tailored to their individual needs. The role requires someone with excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of financial services, and an aptitude for assisting in complex transactions. In addition, the Assistant Relationship Manager must be proactive in identifying opportunities to expand existing client relationships and actively assist with sales operations to enhance the customer experience and support the growth objectives of the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Support senior relationship managers in developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Assist with client onboarding processes to ensure a seamless start to service.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling additional services.
  • Provide administrative support related to client accounts and transactions.
  • Respond to client inquiries efficiently, providing appropriate and timely solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to meet client needs and ensure service efficiency.
  • Monitor client accounts to identify potential issues and opportunities for enhancement.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed client records and reports for management review.
  • Assist in organizing client meetings and ensure all follow-up actions are completed.
  • Develop presentations and proposals tailored to meet client-specific needs and objectives.
  • Assist in managing the sales process, from prospect identification to closing and documentation.
  • Stay updated with market trends and company products to better serve clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in financial services or client-facing roles.
  • Strong understanding of financial products and banking services is essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software for client management.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess client needs and recommend solutions.
