Mammoet FZE is seeking an experienced and strategic Regional Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities across the AMEA region. This role is responsible for implementing sourcing strategies, optimizing supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with Mammoets global procurement standards. The successful candidate will maximize value for money, support project delivery, and streamline regional supply chain operations by leveraging both regional and global buying power.
What You’ll Be Doing
Develop and execute the regional procurement and sourcing plan aligned with Mammoet’s global procurement strategy, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Lead high-value supplier negotiations and contract management to secure competitive terms, maintain compliance with legal and operational requirements, and uphold up-to-date supplier agreements.
Source, evaluate, and manage a diverse portfolio of regional suppliers and subcontractors, monitoring key performance indicators, delivery, and compliance to foster strategic partnerships.
Provide regular procurement performance reports, highlight savings, assess risks, and ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory standards. Support audit and risk management processes.
Lead, mentor, and develop the regional procurement team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing while applying Mammoet’s performance and talent development frameworks.
Oversee procurement systems and administrative functions, ensuring data accuracy, process improvements, and compliance with company procedures.
What You’ll Need
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in procurement, ideally in a regional or project-driven environment.
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional certification such as CIPS is preferred.
Expert-level proficiency in: Strategic sourcing and negotiation; Legal and contractual affairs; Procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Coupa, Oracle)
Supplier relationship management
Professional competency in: Financial and project management; Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Fluent English communication skills (verbal and written); additional language such as Arabic skills are advantageous.
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels.
