The Airport Customer Service Agent is a vital cog in ensuring a seamless and efficient travel experience for passengers from check-in to boarding. This role involves direct interaction with travelers to assist them with ticket information, baggage processes, and boarding procedures. Responsibilities

  • Greet passengers with a friendly and helpful demeanor upon arrival.
  • Assist travelers with the check-in process ensuring accurate information.
  • Manage and coordinate baggage handling and tagging for passengers.
  • Provide guidance on flight schedules, delays, and boarding procedures.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and efficiently.
  • Conduct boarding operations ensuring passenger safety and compliance.
  • Help special assistance passengers with boarding and deplaning.
  • Coordinate with flight crew for timely departure and arrival schedules.
  • Maintain knowledge of airline policies, procedures, and promotions.
  • Ensure airport safety and security procedures are followed at all times.
  • Handle sales transactions and process payments for excess baggage fees.
  • Assist with lost and found baggage issues and claims processes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional languages are advantageous.
  • Previous experience in customer service roles preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in verbal and written English.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to handle stressful situations.
  • Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with airline reservation systems.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift luggage when necessary.
