The role of an Admin Assistant cum Accounts is crucial in supporting the smooth operation of a business or organization by handling both administrative and accounting tasks. This multifaceted position requires an organized, detail-oriented individual who can manage office operations while also performing various financial record-keeping duties. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. By ensuring the efficient functioning of the office and maintaining accurate financial records, the Admin Assistant cum Accounts plays a vital role in facilitating the overall success of the business.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee daily office operations and administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable entries.
  • Coordinate with accounting staff to reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve issues.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements and management reports.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence and communications with stakeholders.
  • Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for executives.
  • Perform data entry tasks to update databases and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documentation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of office policies and procedures.
  • Order office supplies and manage inventory to support operational needs.
  • Provide administrative support to accounting and finance departments as needed.
  • Contribute to team meetings and discussions to improve office processes and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an administrative or accounting support role for at least two years.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with all levels of staff.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive information securely.
