Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and guide the accounting team in their daily tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
  • Coordinate month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Maintain and enforce internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.Provide training and development to junior accounting staff.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.
  • Handle complex accounting issues and escalate unresolved matters to senior management.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors during financial and compliance audits.
  • Assist in the implementation of new accounting systems or tools and support process improvement initiatives.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports for accuracy.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred).
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks preferred) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and financial automation tools.
  • Ability to create interactive dashboards using Power Bi or Tableau.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
