Responsibilities

• Prepare and examine financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.

• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes systematically and timely.
• Perform audits of financial records, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
• Evaluate budget proposals and provide financial forecasts for strategic planning.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filing in accordance with appropriate jurisdictional requirements.
• Maintain accurate tracking of debt, credit, and financing activities to manage cash flow.
• Provide insights and advice on financial transactions that ensure optimized use of resources.
• Manage accounting software or systems for data accuracy and integrity.
• Develop internal control policies, procedures, and enforce compliance with them.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.
• Liaise with department heads to enhance budgetary forecasting and financial oversight.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three years of experience in accounting or related financial activities.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is strongly preferred for this role.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle Financials.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting regulations, financial principles, and best practices.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills for effective liaison with stakeholders and management.
